it will still be used to name and shame people it one of the main thing that ruined world of warcraft because people would just insult people for doing sub par dps with no advice on how to improve it and the same thing will happen in FFXIV ARR if they added it in to the game beacuse of the nature of most end game raiding is atm that people would damand that the player have 400+ dps for everything the pf box on top of the 100exp 2 fail = kick rubbish

Make it so only you can see your own parse.

Here's the problem: End game fights NEVER are just a rotation. There are mechanics where you break contact, do AE dmg, kill adds, apply your buffs/debuffs at different times, run around screaming, and throttling/pushing DPS. Knowing your rotation is a good start. Knowing if its more efficient to fracture each Gust of Myrceydia as a WAR OT in T13, or to use those 3 globals to IB/Steel Cyclone in time for the Sin to spawn is better DPS is something else entirely. That is just a small example of different DPS styles during a sinlge fight in end game.

Yeah, they should have 400+ dps for Final coil excluding BRDs on certain fights. If they don't, they are going to cause enrage. If you don't like the "xp for the whole fight low tolerance for error" PFs, make your own.

Alternatively, only make the Parser appear in Coil.

If parsers ruined world of warcraft, how come it grew so big?

Besides, how do you expect people to explain an entire class within 3 mins inside a duty finder just because one person does not know how to play and is in a trial that is beyond his means? If you're not doing well in the basics of a class and someone pointed it out, withdraw yourself, learn the class and come back stronger. A parser can help point that out and someone in the party who knows the meta library can show you the links. Sure the group will likely end without any win but at least it's not on bad terms (if the under performing player doesn't have a thin skin). Right now players who already knows someone is doing poorly can either just keep quiet and lament/seeth or start going ham on the party chat because he does not care or start under performing themselves because doing their best is futile when the others aren't or just start using afk/kick/vote antics. Everyone doesn't clear the fight and much more time has been wasted. Which side wins exactly?

You can't seriously expect to still win when a relevant fight expects the whole group to contribute equally to its capacity and you aren't contributing as much to the party and the group comes up short? Right?
