Bad Rotations and habits can be reflected by a parser when compared to someone's numbers.

On another note, I never entirely understood the harassment claim on parsers being available to everyone. If that already exists at current, with those who have access to it harassing others (not everyone uses parsers for this purpose), why would giving everyone parsers hurt?

If people can see their own numbers and compare it to others no one else would have to tell them they are low, they would see it themselves. This may incline people to seek guidance to improve themselves. If people were to then harass them all the same, mind you most likely in content that REQUIRES high DPS like the end game raids, why would someone feel bad about being called out on their low dps when, they can see for themselves they are indeed low?

If this then created a hostile environment to that person and they were forced out of it, the only solution becomes get help or don't participate in end-game.

Now consider this same situation with no official parser in the mix. You quite literally have the same exact situation. Those who already cant hold their weight are either called out, and don't seek help cause they just tend to file it under (harassment) or they tend to be carried by several high end players to pick up their slack, which now your end game community suffers for it cause they have to deal with these people mixing in.

Parsers FORCE people to get better. If people choose to rebel against that but still want to participate in end-game, where parsers are really used, then the problem isn't the parser, the problem is you the player.

    Probably true.
