I noticed not too long ago that there was this weird ball of energy floating above my Stardust Rod Novus. I see it on other peoples' Stardust Rods too. Animus as well. Now I did a quick google search to find other images of it, and said ball was either non-existant or in the head of the staff. Messing around with my graphical settings doesn't seem to make a difference at all.
