Is there a reason why our CDs need to be reset out in the field?

Currently working thru FCOB with my static, and our best run is quite often our first of the evening. Because every run thereafter any combination of people have certain moves on GCD. Bene, hallowed and to lesser extent raging and quelling, plus all pots, just irritating more than anything. we don't have time to wait 8 mins or whatever between each wipe, so every run after the first at least one of the team is going in jipped

If CDs reset after every wipe in a raid, world first and server firsts would come much faster than they do already because I'm sure those groups wait for every offensive CD after each wipe. That being said, I suppose that has absolutely no relevance at this point or even after the first month or so that the raid is released. I think this should be changed in the odd patch (2.1, 2.3, 2.5, etc.) at the very least.

I think you overestimate how much time is saved. 1 minute here, 30 seconds there, 2 minutes here. Might knock these people back a day at most.
