Does all this imply moving toward the way it's done in Skyrim? If a Skyrim character can carry a weapon S/he can use it.

Not at all. I like the way the jobs are set up. Just an idea of how we may unlock future jobs. Something like BLM + WAR = DRK for instance. Similar to how we get jobs now. Doing things how they do in skyrim would really make a mess of things.
