lol what i mean by zerging is running through the dungeon while monsters aggro and attack, just to hit a portal and de-spawn the mobs. In other words, that is what the intentional strategy is for the first few maps of the dungeon, which is, needless to say, "linear"

I understand that dungeons weren't necessarily for ranking up anyways, since you cant get passed R50, but I believe that some dungeons should be as trivial as the Water Temple in Zelda. (I went there.)

wow.. water temples from zelda are a little extreme.. lol those have always been intensely hard in every zelda lol but back to subject. i don't like rushing dungeons like that, even if there is no extra exp to be had there is still always gil and drops that i would want from the regular mobs if anything to put up in the wards for some profit heck you work hard for it i'm sure

Then again, the dungeon's design isn't the player's fault. All us players do is find the best way to complete it, rinse and repeat. However, there are only 2 dungeons in the game, while one is linear and requires strategy, the other is more free-roam and contains a puzzle.
