i like how they have it in WoW and i know that this is not WoW but you cant help but compare on certain things like rolling for all items rather than having to rely on any kind of honor system because about 80% of the players out there have no honor in them to speak of..... btw Nuru love the sig.. =)

lol thanks! and yeah i agree with you about the honor thing, but my idea above you would require all the teamwork so that everyone is able to have enough points to be able to buy what item they want. Say the whole party accumulates 10,000 points. Everyone gets to spend that 10,000 individually, no matter if someone already uses 7,500 of it. That 10,000 is there for you to spend on whichever item you want. However, the rarest equipment will be more costly and you would have to spend a lot of time in the dungeon in order to earn it.

that is a very good idea and even be able to accumulate points would be nice so you COULD get the high point value items would be good for multiple runs =)

Strongly agree on that one. I was so, so lucky the people I ran the first dungeon with were willing to let me stop, not only to see the cutscenes but to read the notes, too.

I don't think they can get rid of the timer until they've cleared up some server related crap (or added more servers). I've yet to take part in one of the raids, but I do remember some talk of a limited (not sure how limited) amount of instances that can happen at once. The timer is just to keep players from hanging out in the instance too long at the moment. I'm sure at some point in time it'll be done away with along with the minimum player requirement. But probably not until they can handle an abundance of instances at one time.

And on a side note... Do the cut-scenes require you to hit a button to progress the dialogue? If so, that's why the timer keeps ticking down.

Yes I do have a My Little Pony sig because I'm not a complete loser who lives in his own little world, proclaiming something is stupid because I say so.

The darkhold cutscenes don't have dialogue. The only button presses they would require at all would be hitting ESC twice to bring up the skip? prompt, and of course the arrow keys and enter key to select yes. But if you were to just sit and watch the cutscene, no input is required at all.

Makes no difference, it's balanced with the cutscenes in mind... if they take away cutscenes then they just lower the timelimit.... so pointless.

Just use the guild wars method, where all players have to vote to skip or nobody gets to skip. (It showed a checkbox for each player in your party and if they all had it checked, the cutscene ended early).

And, while in the cutscene, the timer doesn't go down.

This would also be a great alternative. I just don't want to see the work that the devs put in to make these CSs go to waste because it's expected that you skip them to save time.

I too want to see the cut scene, but having players skip the event causes problems because then when I come out of the cut scene bad things are going down.

    Yes please.
