    T12 Defensive Cooldown Priorities

Hey, this question is mostly directed at paladins, but any warriors who want to chime in are more than welcome

My group has been stuck at T12 for a few weeks now, and one thing that keeps throwing me off (as a healer) is that our paladin seems to be taking wayyyy too much damage. I know phoenix's auto attacks are brutal, and revelation hits like a mac-truck, and those bennus deal a lot of damage. I know it's a high damage fight, but when held up against our warrior, our paladin just doesn't seem able to take the hits. (and this is aside from the occasional instance where he pops them a moment too late, but that's a separate issue) So, as per the title, i'm wondering how some of you paladins out there prioritize your cooldowns for T12.

Also, do you prioritize them differently when you have a whm trying to solo heal phase 1 and 2? (the occasional lustrate notwithstanding)

I might be the wrong person to ask since i do the "whole" fight in swordoath (except add-phase). But if its painfull to heal him ask him to use sentinel on the first revelation and hallowed on the 2nd revolution, with rampart/forsight/conva/awareness/bulwark/bloodbath for the bennies

    Does his gear suck?

    Is he str specced?

I know I go in that turn with 9990 hp as a WAR and my healers get testy with me. It is a high damage fight; your war just might be better geared or using IB all the time (which he should). In all honestly without knowing the differences between your WAR and PLD, it sounds like its your healers.

    I rampart+foresight the first Revelation.

Then I'm OT duty, for the Bennu I pop convalescence.

After the Bennu I provoke and pop Rampart again. (we reposition Pheonix at this point) Sentinel for the next Revelation. (#3)

Then I'm OT again for the fourth and final Bennu.

Awareness and Bulwark can be weaved in as well. His crits can do 4k on a PLD.

Last phase I Sentinel the first Revelation and HG the 3rd.

It definitely sounds like a healer issue. This fight in general is very low damage with very predictable spikes.

Rampart can match every Revelation. Bulwark and Sentinel can each hit every other one.

If you use rampart and bulwark between revelations you can stay in sword oath and not stress your healers.
