I try to integrate my goals so that I can knock them out together rather than focusing solely on one piece of content or squatting in a zone waiting for something to happen--I try to MAKE it happen and if I can't at that moment, I don't obsess over it. I move on to something else and come back to it later. I try to avoid just sitting around doing nothing at any given time--whether that is something for myself or lending a hand to someone else. If I am sitting idle, it is mostly because I have gone AFK.

And that is the point. You can streamline your activities so that you aren't sitting around doing nothing. The big complaint that continually comes up is how everyone is tired of having to wait around all the time for a bleeding FATE to pop. No. You don't HAVE to sit there all day/night. In fact, you may actually be hurting yourself if you do because you could be missing the opportunity to actually make the FATE spawn (or at least spawn sooner).

Whether it was a FATE or a B rank that had to be found daily... the end result could eventually wind up the same way. People would still complain about how long it would take to find the objective. If not that, they might complain that it ends too quick for them to get credit. And here we are back at square one again.
Nope, read through the whole thing and I still can't find where you say whether you would prefer to hunt B ranks on a daily basis or you would rather hunt FATES.

Nor do I see where you state whether or not you'd be unhappy if the daily and weekly hunts were switched.
