From experience, other GCs have so many random applying players that they always have to wait for flames to apply. Usually when flames apply, it's on premades like the one shown in the video, and they get insta queue pop. Premade queues on other GCs are nearly impossible to get in, waiting 1~2+ hours. Solo queues are the way to get in faster, then you can't control who you get and what classes. Even if you ask or suggest certain set ups, they ignore it and prefer having 4 tanks in a single party, duh.

The queues on Aether flames are also very long. Very very long. And the flames also have the bad setups, with tanks that don't put up an oath or people in like ilvl50 gear. I have more HP then the tanks sometimes.

However, 3-4 good BLM can change the course of the entire fight, and I think some of the good players trickled to aether flames after they started winning slightly more (like 40%) back when there was only secure. But I get like 3x the queues on my adder char before I get a single flames queue.
