Honestly how hard is it to design a damn tether shape? They already have several shape variations IN the game (like cerberus chains) swap the shape to one of those SE and stop being thick about it!

fc mate walked got into chrystalis for the storyline and people started explaining the fight and brought up the colored orbs my friend said he was color blind and they kicked him immediately....
The way you automatically assumed it was due to color blindness when it seems clear the group didn't tell you that was the reason is why I have a problem. You automatically crutched on the disability and sought sympathy and you didn't even know that was the real reason. It sucks you're color blind, but that kind of behavior is unacceptable. Even now people are posting without reading the thread and you get more and more sympathy.

the red/green balls are different, so it'll be easy to know regardless of color.

OP already said all is good. Jokes in bad taste = perceived personality clash = group abandon => making up after CONVERSATION
(But really, y'all should learn that when with several groups of people some things just aren't what you should be saying.)
The tethers are distinguishable. Develop raid awareness. Look at whether or not you have certain shapes of tethers (though color helps people). You have helix-like? This is the "red/green" tether! Not that? Ok blue it is.
The balls in chrysalis are distinguishable. They're small. Or big -_-
how does a misjudged joke equal I was kicked for being color blind

Well, mate, it's only been mentioned 50 times you can distinguish the tethers in other ways.
Why don't you link them this thread and clear up the matter? You'll be raiding again in no time, right?
Right?
Right?
Right?
Right?

This exactly. I mean, even with the OP making an incorrect assumption, you'd still expect that if there is a problem that kicking would be the last resort, the leader would at least try to work through the dispute first rather than change up the dynamics of the entire team as a spur of the moment decision.
Sounds like your raid leader should learn to communicate better.
