Well I know its a little offtopic but my static fights since patch more the lags and bugs in T9 than anything....

We now had a couple of times 2-3 random players dieing at thermeonic beam when all are stacked... but this bug I seen even before patch 1-2 times but the more important 1 is the meteors...
Anyone else having meteors exploding and 3-4 man survive for no reason?

    I agree.

The only hard part of divebombs is really the patience to go through 55 bad parties before you happen across one that doesn't die to a divebomb.
Same with t9 it's not really skill but luck to find a party that can dodge it. It does not matter a single f*** how good your tanking/healing or damage output is because all that doesn't matter at all if one member fails to team jump rope mechanic.

Your individual skill level can not and will not -ever- be enough to make up the difference and pull your team back on course.
Even if your party consists of awesome players a singe f-up can sink the entire ship and there's nothing YOU as a player can do about it.

Actually, I find that the better the team, the more leeway the team has in fixing their battle flow and still reach the finish line. Granted I've mostly seen this when the group is in 'farm' mode, not learning or first time clear or just won the same fight last week but seeing your full team rise back up when you expect to wipe or preventing a wipe in fcob by your own hand feels pretty awesome.

Personally find that phase 2 is the worst part of turn 9. It doesn't feel like it's part of the fight (you're not even fighting the boss) and no matter how strong your team is, you can't make it go faster. You just end up with a longer countdown wait time. The whole phase is just a motion you go through.

We've had it where one or two players will get to the middle on their screen, but everyone else sees them across the room. Thermionic beam goes off and their corpses appear on the floor in the middle. Talk about weird.

I've never seen anyone survive meteor explosions, though.

I think ppl r forgetting what DF used to be when it introduced ex peimals pre echo and before super over geared players.
It used to be a place where u were allowed to go in blind cuz there were no videos or strats. You went there for practice so that you can most likely make a PF party that will require ppl with same or more exp than u on the fight.
If you can't practice in DF and can't practice in PF then where do u practice?
Cuz we all know even PF practice parties will disband after a few wipes and say
" this isn't working out bye"
    In df its the same
    " vote abandon "
T9 will eventually become easy in 3.0 and so will t13.
Phases will be pushed etc so its just a matter of how bad do you want to clear it before "___" nerf.

Hopefully se will stray away from team jump rope cuz honestly if they continue it in 3.0 that's jusy lazy bad game design.

All bets on 3.0 nefring it even further.
I mean yoshi wants old content to get easier so i'm just assuming he can possibly nerf meteor stacking/ debris.
Also the fact that in 3.0 everyone will be super over geared for t9 and t13 etc.
Old raid might not be required for new raid but ppl will still want to clear it for the sake of clearing.

    @ gardes
Don't think there is a way unless yoshi decides to make every mechanic that 1 shots u survivable.

Then, if everything is survivable, it is heal-able no? Is it then the healer's fault if someone ignores a mechanic and everyone takes heavy damage and then somebody/everybody dies from a second round of attack? I mean, if you do not shift the responsibility to the healers, does this not basically turn into another form of one mistake = wipe mechanic and therefore still a 'team jump rope' mechanic in the end?

Now, if the healers meekly accepts this extra burden and burns through their mana to fix everybody's mistakes, it becomes repeatable, yes? That encourages the party to just ignore mechanics, stand in aoes, run the wrong way, etc and...it has basically turned into tank and spank? That's what you want out of every single battle? I don't think you can just say "just reduce the one hit wipe mechanics, don't have to remove them all" either, because the OP has pinpointed one mechanic in the fight. It's a full stop check in the fight. You can get past this and then meet the next full stop check and complain about that one instead. Either you have such things or not at all (and I already explained why not having them will turn all fights into tank and spank).
