i keep crashing too ever since the last update
I think I was crashing before.
But after the update I am pretty sure my performance got just a little bit worse. I used to be able to walk around gridania and only have stuttering in a few spots. After the update I get stuttering in a lot of places. Could be somethin else I dunno.
*sigh* been talking on the Corsair forums, even replaced my CMOS battery because my CMOS would reset after turning off my powersupply manually for extended periods of time.
Have tried using 2nd PCIEx16 slot on my motherboard and the game seems a lot smoother for some reason. But I still get BSOD's and Crashes with my 460. And my 8600 is completely fine. Nothing is wrong with my 460 either. Because I get the same issues with the 450.
My NB is a lot hotter than normal lately, between 68-70c but the limit on the x58 NB is 100c, so that shouldn't be the problem.
Damnit! I am starting to get really pissed off. I can do everything but things GPU intensive without issue.
I dunno man, X58/LGA1366 wasn't even out in 2005 but that's apparently when the driver that was causing the issue came out.
\(--)/
EDIT: Spoke too soon, after setting my OC setting for CPU/Ram. 15-30 minutes in game BZT BSOD.
Gonna have to start cranking everything backwards now and determining what is the problem and possibly go back to stock and see if it is still fine.

Don't forget to check your RAM voltage and timings.
Yup , already changed my RAM timings to stock since I had them set at 8 instead of 9
Well I changed my RAM timings to stock and at first I let it idle for a while came back and it had the "cannot find direct x device" I figured something on my computer must have caused that. So I started the game back up and it's been idling with the ocassional input from me for at least 5+ hours now without issue.

I idled again for around 8 hours from 6 am to 2pm when the maintenance started too without issue.
Just to update you again, I have mentioned about RAM timings on page 1. Anyway, found the optimal setting for me which is 8-9-8-24 at the moment, and haven't been crashing. Currently running on 8Q, and the rest of the options maxed aside of AO off.![]()
yeah I remember that. Though changing my stuff that wasn't neccessarily related to the GPU wasn't considered to be a possible problem of the game crashing at the time <:O
