Server Population on the Rise

Do you think there's any hope for the PC crowd being a substantial precentage of the XIV community in the future?
PS3 release will bring a few console players but does anyone think PC players will return/start playing around that time also?

I wonder if this game's population will be the opposite of XI, PsU MMOs where the majority of the players were PC players and only a small fraction played those games on XBOX (and even a smaller fraction on the ps2).

there a lot of PS2 and Xbox players reason why ffxi is failing is due to the ps2 users not wanting to switch over to PC. I mean any cheap Computer can run it lol. My 64MB pc run the game on pretty high setting without issue.

But does not matter if 90% of the player base is pc or ps3 i don't see how that would matter tho.

I just hope the reason for this division in those games isn't the fact that console players just aren't that likely to play an MMO. In any case I hope they advertise the PC version more when they feel the time is right. (definitely not now though)

PS3 launch will be the only time they get a good chance to push the game (On all available platforms).
