Sorry, was referring to being outside, lol. I want to hear the ocean, or birds chirping, not loud ass chatter. When I have ambient at 100%, it sounds amazing when I'm by myself, but once a crowd shows up, I have to mute it all because it's just way to loud.

lol I was imagining Revanant's Toll too XD. This also counts with S ranks, although the ambient chatter works well while you are preparing for an S rank, it feels so epic like you are actually getting ready for a big battle .

I haven't had this chatter in places other than the markets in Gridania, Revenant's Toll and grouping for S ranks. Where else are you saying this chatter shows up?

It is true that the chatter only shows up when a place get's crowded, but having to lower the ambient noise just because of this, then raise it back up when I'm somewhere quiet is what annoys me. I'm sure Mor Dhona has a good ambient sound if it wasn't crowded 24/7, though I would never know since I usually keep it on low when I'm there...

Exactly. There are many locations in this game by the ocean where you can enjoy without chatter.

Exactly. There are plenty of lovely quiet spots all over the world that you can go chill at. You don't have to just hang out in the middle of Revenant's Toll.

I tend to idle in my housing ward (the Goblet) because its quiet and I can hear the waterfall from the windmill from our front yard. But there are places all over that are nice ambient spots to idle and craft or whatever.

i always got ambient on mute, cause of the random moaning miq, lala, whatever. everytime i go to some camp, there's all that moaning...ppl asked to have it removed....2 years ago, and it's still there....cant they just remove it??
they spend a lot of time to find ambient sounds, but many ppl got it on mute, cause of that crap. just remove it, so i can have it on, all the time instead,.
