Crowd Chatter Ambient Sound

I hate the chatter. When it gets busy in MD, I usually move down the bottom to the aetheryte to get away from it. If the FATE NPC in Revenants Toll spawns, I activate the fate just so he'll go away and take his commotion with him.



+1 for the ability to disable it. yes, please.

I think they could add a little bit more variation to it as well, but otherwise it's pretty nice. It makes going to quiet places all the more rewarding. It's obnoxious sounding, but in a way it subtly pushes you into reacting to it in a way you would in real life.

Immersion successful, if you ask me.

Well I mean crowded places are annoying in real life too... I'd say do what you would do in real life if the noise of crowds bothers you, find a more quiet spot lol.

Exactly. There are many locations in this game by the ocean where you can enjoy without chatter.

Exactly. There are plenty of lovely quiet spots all over the world that you can go chill at. You don't have to just hang out in the middle of Revenant's Toll.

I tend to idle in my housing ward (the Goblet) because its quiet and I can hear the waterfall from the windmill from our front yard. But there are places all over that are nice ambient spots to idle and craft or whatever.

The chatter has little variety and quickly loops.

It is true that the chatter only shows up when a place get's crowded, but having to lower the ambient noise just because of this, then raise it back up when I'm somewhere quiet is what annoys me. I'm sure Mor Dhona has a good ambient sound if it wasn't crowded 24/7, though I would never know since I usually keep it on low when I'm there...
