As my title says I could really use some help. I really want to get back into the game and try out the thief/ninja role. I have pretty much used up all the available quests to lvl other roles. I don't know how to lvl now, is fate grinding still a thing? Did they buff leve quests?

Cant see what level you are atm (haven't gone to search your character name.)

However, daily guildheist, daily low level roulette, spam your highest level dungeon till you can access higher. Once you are level to get into dzamael and aurum vale, there are "first room farms" for exp that will net you around 50 - 60k xp for about 5 minutes run.

Other than that, levequests etc are always good, use foods/fc buffs for bonus experience, always log out in sanctuary for rested bonus.

FATE grinding is a thing, and if you have a tank or healer friend, you can run dungeons as well.
Just follow this advice:
Eat food. Any food. You just want the exp bonus so even mineral water is fine.
Get in an FC that throws up the Heat of Battle free company bonus.
Make friends. Queue together.
Hunting Log. The ROG one is REALLY easy and convenient.
Challenge Log.
Also, you can do levequests for exp as well. It's not perfect but there's a trick you can do to make it faster: have a high level friend solo the levequest, which should be as high as you can possibly get, and then you turn it in. Rinse, repeat.

You've got lots of options darkwinter, and yep the grindy feeling hits in around the 30's just the same, but you can do it! Max that class, take over the world

Also if you logged out in a sanctuary (even your Inn Room would have done) the last time you were in game, you would by now have a very large saved up 'Rested EXP' bonus, which adds a bonus to battle exp (but not quest/leve exp).

If you have rested exp saved up, your exp bar will be blue instead of red and will gradually be expended each time it grants a bonus, but you can increase it by simply spending time in a sanctuary (if you're in a sanctuary you'll notice a crescent moon icon appear beside your exp bar, and will increase your rested exp for as long as you remain in that sanctuary).

And, if you level a class other than your highest leveled one, you will gain an additional exp bonus on top of that, up to whatever level your highest class is (so, say, you have a class at 47, any other classes you switch to will gain an exp bonus until they too reach level 47). Really, you'll probably find levelling other classes will go much faster than your first one did.
