When and IF new races come out

I will not search for it but I think once Bayohne replied with an answer from Yoshi saying that they would consider the one-time switch option if they add a new race.

In my opinion they should because the nature of the game itself. It's not a game where you pick a class and can only be that one class like WoW where re-rolling is not that much an issue because you level up just 1 class and crafting leveling is a no brainer. FFXIV is really different where you can level every single class of DoW/M DoH and DoL. You grow a lot more attached to your character and can end up spending a lot more time on it to level up everything.

Asking people to reroll and relevel all what one has work hard for would be really stupid. Giving the option to switch race would be the best solution.

Lol wtf but yeah i've been waiting for some sort of salon, that could mean that they can keep adding more and more hairstyles later on.

Yoshi-p said when they release the missing race for ps3 release they said going to give 1 free switch or something like that. then allow players to switch like every 90days maybe? who knows what they doall i know they did say they going to allow 1 free switch.
