    Allied Seals Cap same way as Poetic idea.

    This is just a idea thread open to discussion about implanting a weekly cap on Allied seals gained from Hunts same way as Poetic is capped at 450 per week.

    At Reset sure you'll still get the early pulls but later on in the week once the early pullers got their max seals for the week it might help people who aint so eager to pull so early and give a chance to some other people to get their seals.

    But items may still be dropped regardless of if your max out on Allied Seals or not.

    Thoughts?

    If the point is to stop the early pulls, then the other thread with the buff is more effective: for 5-10 minutes after they spawn, they get a 50-75% damage reduction buff. You either wait for people to gather so you can overpower that buff, or you wait for the buff to run out (which allows people to gather).

    Missing point that there is no early pulls. It's only an early pull if thee arent enough people to kill it and they wipe, if it dies its a legitamate claim, nothing early about it.

    Commendations.
    If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
    If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
    If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

    Only if they should be getting a commendation.
    There are always exceptions to the rules!

    We need more uncapped content in the game so I definitely am against weekly caps on Allied Seals. It's not like you absolutely have to have i130 gear right now anyways. Everything in the game has been cleared in much less already. Stop whining and just get your twines and coats whenever you get them. There's still a few months until expansion, the hunts will die down well before then.

    I was going to open a new thread on the same subject, though I'd suggest a higher cap around 1000 allied seals, given how expensive the upgrade items are. The relative doubling in the expense of upgrade items in 2.5 versus 2.3 is one reason the hunts have gotten so savage. People are in such a rush to get 3000 seals for a carbontwine that they'll cut their own mother's throat to get there. I have disabled shouts and my Hunt LS from my chat filter because at this point I want no part of this toxic atmosphere -- and I say this as someone who farmed hunts for hours when working on my Novus.

    Adding a cap will do nothing to help as long as hunts drop Unstained Mark Logs. What we really need is hunt difficulty to scale like FATEs do.
