Normally I wouldn't post it here, but since the issue is only happening when I play FFXIV, I might as well start here:

While playing FFXIV in fullscreen-windowed mode on one monitor, the gameplay will suddenly freeze. Both monitors will go black, and then come back. FFXIV will be nothing but a white screen with music playing in the background, and a window will appear showing FFXIV has caused an error and must shutdown.

The computer than goes back to normal. It can load web pages, play other games, and seems to act normal.

The issue is, no matter how long I wait, when attempting to start up FFXIV, it gets past the two screens showing Squareenix and such. But when it starts to load the main menu of the game, the computer flatlines and forces itself to restart.

I've updated drivers, ensured my tower is clean, and ensured my video card is seated properly.

My specs are as follows:

Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
RAM: 16GB
Processor: AMD FX 8350 Eight-Core Processor ~4.0GHz

FFXIV is installed in an SSD, and something curious to add:

After crashing from too many players on screen (it killed my framerate to less than 1fps, and that was after 2.5 patch), I put the graphics settings from maximum to high (desktop). It crashed much more often after setting my graphics to this.
