me and a few Fc member have gotten friend request and spam /tells i jusy Blist/ decline but next month might not be fun when the golden saucer is out i bet alot of RMT will spamming player with /tell /sh and /yells for Gil for people to get coins for the surcer

where you been at buddy they been doing this for near 5 months now, nothing new here. they usually do it after a tell so just make a macro to deny request

The only way I have eliminated them from my logs is to deactivate the Tell from my logs. If anyone wants to talk to me, they are either on my Linkshells or they are in my FC.

If you accept their friend req., you're at risk for malware, virus, keylogger

Spambot owners utilize DLL injection, code injection, etc,
to disrupt the client and seize your gaming.
This was documented at DEFCON.

Spambot software will often seize up your abilities to deny
the friend request until the spam bot cycles to the next victim.
Recently, a gamemaster came into
the chat box and worked with me to try to return my
friend request function back to normal. It took over 20
minutes to get the spambot to release this function. Even
after he banned the spambot, it still took time to get the
friend request function to normalize.

So, what does all this mean? Spambot owners are hardened
criminals, arrogant, vindictive just like drug lords. They
are mindless sicko sociopath scum-bag, sub-human scammers!

Because RMT bots are short of gil apparently XD, they are selling gil!

But the spam bots arent the ones with the gil ^_^ They create level 1 chars and as soon as they are in world they run their 3rd party app/macro/whatevs that spams everyone.

Those characters have no gil.
