Sametimes wait 20 seconds to quit game its a little lazy. Thinking technically maybe to disconnect socket from server.
Just as curiosity as a developer...

It takes 20 seconds to log out when not in a sanctuary as to prevent you from logging off in dangerous areas and getting killed after your client is already closed

Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.

That is why, but it's utterly meaningless in this day and age. It made sense when MMO death came with massive penalties, but now it doesn't matter in the slightest. The same thing can be said for restrictions on teleporting when aggroed; "Ho ho ho you can't warp away, you must fight, flee, or DIE!" as if being able to tell the zone trash to get bent and warping back to town somehow lets a person get over on the system. It takes 20 seconds to log out when not in a sanctuary as to prevent you from logging off in dangerous areas and getting killed after your client is already closed
