    game crashes during darkhold run?

    this crap randomly happens...and it doesn't do it every time, but when it starts, it usually does it for a day then stops...why?

    Issue: My group is running through the dungeon and on the very first door cutscene, 1-2 people almost ALWAYS have their client crash with the notice "FFXIV has stopped working" This is absolutely terrible. Is there ANYONE who knows how to fix this bs?

    already did with no response. Figured maybe the actual community would have had a similar experience with some advice or something to help us out.

    I'm having the same problem in the last 2 days.... Everytime my wife is not at home, it happens! Incredible....

    I don't know, but I've had party members randomly crash when skipping the cutscene for the ogre.
    I've had it happen myself as well. One time 2 other people crashed at the same time so the party only had 5 people against the ogre.

    It normally happens to me on the chocobo stables cutscene, however I've found that if you relog before entering it doesn't crash.

    Ya people do crash in the dungeon quite frequently (either a DC or one of those Direct X errors). Not uncommon at all.
