    If you Swiftcast it, it goes off instantly, so you can at least hit a moving target with it. It's useful for CC on enemies that can't be slept. I found it handy in SV and AV.

    However, once you are out of low level dungeons, you'd have to be pretty desperate to waste a swiftcast on it when you could swift a Flare instead.

    SE should really change Freeze to have zero cast time. Then it would be a lot more useful.

    Or, now thinking on a new idea, have it give us instant Umbral Ice III upon use. Make it the ice version of Flare in that aspect (except in this case, you know, not really doing any damage, it's there for the AoE and instant Umbral Ice III).

    Personally I feel Freeze should add a DoT to enemies and have a normal cast time of 2.40 seconds. That alone would warrant its use as everyone welcomes another DoT to the mix, especially one with a low cast time.

    Wouldnt mind if we had 1.0s version of freeze. Decent damage and dropped your enmity by alot. Currently i dont even have it on my bar, and ive used it solely for the flashy animation.

    I find it useful when doing alexandrite maps for the adds that spawn when you're fighting the Cyclops (I forget his name). Keeps those little bastards in place until you can get to safety and blow them the hell up.

    I can't speak for all functioning blind but this spell is a staple in my AoE rotation.
    After all the flares have been dispensed and your target is at 5% hp do you wanna risk casting a blizz 3 when it will most likely die before the cast gets off? I just run up and pump out 2 of the blizz 2 casts and move back to my spot to continue my rotation. It doesn't need a target to be cast so it's perfect for quick guaranteed rotation continuity. And yah it doesn't do nominal damage but your hitting 3-4 or more targets it's certainly viable.

    I actually have to agree. In PvE, which is what these abilities should have been made for firstly, is almost absolutely pointless. Like, I can't remember a single instance in which I used it.

    I also agree about Freeze. I've rarely used Freeze outside of PvP, if any at all. I've always thought Freeze should leave a Frostbite circle underneath the location that does low DPS and applies heavy on enemies in the Frostbite circle.
