Suggestion about hunts

If it's so frustrating and stressing you out so much and you really HATE it for various reasons...

Don't do it! Why do people force themselves to do something that is obviously enraging them and making them feel awful? You are going to do just fine without those carbons, trust me. You can even be 100% T13 ready without doing hunts.

Is some gear upgrades really worth the obvious frustration and stress people are putting themselves through? If it isn't fun, you are doing it wrong. There's lots to do in FFXIV, none of which will need those carbon upgrades. Every 5 seconds someone is stressed out, irritated and bothered by the hunt system and for what? Something completely unnecessary for your game enjoyment.

I think the gear obsession is getting out of control if people will subject themselves to things that obviously stress them out just for a shot at some gear upgrades. I literally do not do something I hate no matter what the rewards are and I am enjoying this game to the fullest. $15 a month subscription and every day that goes by where you are not enjoying your time in Eorzia is a waste of money in my humble opinion.

I realize that the hunt system has problems and people have been very detailed in what those problems are but SE does what SE does and you know that eventually, maybe even in 2.51, they will add other ways to get this stuff. Hunts are just a way to 'tie people over'. It's not going to be the permanent end-all-be-all. So just kick back and enjoy the other things the game has to offer while you wait for a way to get gear upgrades that you can actually enjoy
