I wholeheartedly support this! I would be very disappointed to not see Hildibrand in the expansion. With that flying sword, there is nothing stopping him to join us in our voyage through the skies!

Agreed! Hence the video, not really much of an editor but I wanted to make something fun to show my support. I had automatically thought he would return as a standard, but I was re-watching the fan festival videos (as I had subbed them all) and Yoshi-P basically said that his adventure was basically done and "IF" he was to return it would only be if we wanted it enough.

So I really hope people show support and make the message loud and clear that they want him to return. I know some people don't like the quest as they see it as a bit "goofy" but he is great comic relief and I always find myself re-watching the cutscenes hehe.

I think they already planned a Season 2 for Hildibrand but they just have not decided when it will be released.

Currently there are certain things that hint for Season 2 being...

1) The end says "Hildibrand will continue in....?"

2) the Mysterious Lalafell that appears in the Hildibrand Saga still remains a mystery.

3) Gilgamesh says that this is not the last time we will encounter him.

4) Hildibrand heads into the sky which is the location of the new Sky Continent.

Ever heard of "Both"?

The Dev team is already split into different groups which one focus on casual friendly things like Hildibrand while another group focus on Hardcore things like Savage.

The ending did leave it open, the hints of a new case, the question of him returning at the end, and the card in the coblyn teaser. All indicate that there very likely will be more.

Your attitude towards it is very negative. Thought the overwhelming opposition to petitions against it would have given you the picture where majority of people stand on this. Just look at the likes on the first three replies to that thread.

Somehow just thinking back to the Hildy quests makes me smile.
I would say that some of the characters within the Hildibrand storylines, namely Godbert "The Hammer" and Julyan um, "The Skillet", and more amusing and fascinating than most of the "main" characters.
We really do need more of Hildy's family, and more cases with Hildy and Nashu.

Its just fun. Just simple, silly fun. And of course we have the Gilgamesh fights. The music is nice, with amusing mechanics that still require some attention. And then we have all of the "expository banter."

You just know they have to have another season of this. They can't introduce Hildy's mom in the last episode and NOT have her part of future escapades!

They're bringing him back. They HAVE to, its like the only good story. Honestly I know I'm probably not the majority but the main quests I often find myself skipping while the Hildi quests I pay attention to and watch all the scenes.

The main quests to be are all, "chosen one!" ...."I'm coming!" ...."chosen one! Please you have to collect this pointless object and deliver it for me!" ......."I'm coming!" ...."chosen one!!!" .....-gets hit by tiny net-
