Love all the comments here from the "pro early pulling" crowd that early pulling is all a matter of "I wasn't there in time." :/
I was home sick from work yesterday, so I had the rare chance to do some hunts during the day... and what I observed was very interesting (and relevant to this thread).
First of all, hunts were totally awesome until about 2 p.m. PST. People were calling out hunt locations, then being patient enough on pulls to allow more than enough time to get there. Because of this, people were roaming zones, marks were being found faster, and far fewer people were leeching at the tele crystals. It was, in a word, pleasant.
Then came 2 p.m.-ish, and suddenly there was one summoner with a titan egi who just started pulling almost as soon as he got to the mark. Every. Single. Mark. I was fortunate to be in a party with some very good hunt intel -- and, admittedly, I had to stop searching zones so much and stay centrally located in order to reach the marks on time -- so I didn't personally miss out on any marks. However, as soon as that smn joined the hunts, everything went to the crapper. More people started sitting in zones waiting for calls, fewer people made it to marks before kills, and suddenly the nasty /shouts began (that didn't exist earlier in the day).
And about the shouts, it was hardly the "public shaming" described here. The opposite, in fact. One or two people would say something like "Really???" or "Who pulled early?" And then, like five other people (I'm assuming the friends of the early puller) would jump all over them in /shout, basically laughing at them and taunting them for missing out. So most of the nastiness was from the people who were "defending" (for lack of a better word) the early puller.
Fun times.

The kids get out of school and the trouble begins. That timing is almost impeccable. The hunts improve drastically once they are hauled off to bed. So prime time hours are the worst when they are all there making trouble.

So this means you are essentially raging with children? lol
I don't get all worked up. There is no raging involved. You identify them, tell them to stop, and if they won't, get everyone to blacklist them. It is all very simple. No one needs to stoop to their level with naming calling, verbal abuse etc. Get the hunt groups to hold their fire and their corpse on the ground is usually good enough.
What is clearly obnoxious and not helpful is forum lawyers insisting on the letter of law, but they have no means to extract that pound of flesh without a drop of blood, yet they insist the troublemakers have full rights to grief everyone else, and a carte blanche to cause mischief.

Honestly the issue is on SE to fix, not the players. SE has failed to balance hunts around the increased item level and portion of players participating. If they were to do so, hunts would feel more engaging and less pinata.
This of course would require that SE test their content rather than live beta it. . .
Seems you have not paid any attention to what many people have been saying to you in this thread. Your still playing the victim of some big bad wolf, attempting to be a vigilante hero wannabe. Whether you like it or not those 'troublemakers' as you now call them (which is better than the ISIS, mafia or criminals you were calling them earlier) do in fact have rights. They have the same rights as you, the right to report someone if they are causing you distress or breaking any rules but neither you or they have the right to start a lynch mob to harass the other into compliance with your or their own personal rules.I don't get all worked up. To a lot of people, you're worse than the kids who get out of school.
Here, have a read for your personal education. What is clearly obnoxious and not helpful is forum lawyers insisting on the letter of law, but they have no means to extract that pound of flesh without a drop of blood, yet they insist the troublemakers have full rights to grief everyone else, and a carte blanche to cause mischief.

This forum never gets old. Still complaining about the nature of hunts? Get over it already.
