    NIN - Every time mudra misses you get damage yourself by 15% and you have to complete the mudra within 4 seconds.
    MNK - If you don't hit your positions you do 0 damage
    DRG - Reverse Buffs - Stolen from jlewiss
    BLM - If you hit 0 mana you are stunned
    SMN - Bane only hits one target
    SCH - Succor uses a stack of aetherflow
    WHM - Stoneskin has twice as long of a cast timer and you can no longer stoneskin II

    Monk: DRG and NIN have the INT reduction from DK added to Chaos Thrust and Shadowfang, respectively. The INT reductions don't stack. Mantra now does 20% by default, the trait only reduces cooldown.

    Um, that's not nerfing anyone. That's a buff all around and a severe slash at job dichotomy.

    Monks aren't semi-mandatory by any stretch of the word. All Dragon Kick does is make it so you can skip one of Soil, Succor, or Virus for a big attack. If you're skilled enough to get to these fights, you won't actually need it. If you want to attack any job for being semi-mandatory, look at Bard. Your proposed change is the worst kind of change: one that makes all of the melee almost exactly the same. We might as well just eliminate two of them and just have a "Melee" class that does everything all three of them once did.

    And no, your change does buff Monks. You decreased their Mantra cooldown. They're still better at one of the things they do than Dragoon and Ninja and would therefore still be desired.
