Maintaining stacks with Flatten on T13

My group is on T13, and I have been trying to find a way to maintain stacks when targeted with flatten, but even with Shoulder Tackling back in at the second that the 3rd aoe goes out, my stacks fall off. Any tips or ideas? my SKS is 401 for reference.

Do you mean earthshaker? Get your PLD to cover you, just make sure you stay on flank cause the aoe can still hit other players but you won't get the puddles

So even though the MNK gets targetted for the puddles as long as the PLD covers him he will receive NO puddles? Where do those puddles go then?

^ just do that. Let them cover the BLM or the DRG or something. Really you don't need that once you learn that.

Just a warning - The timing is VERY precise, and messing it up really screws up that side for positionals.

Nowhere, the PLD just gets hit for earthshaker damage. It's easier to heal as well

For your Answer, yes and I plays Monk for my static. Here is what I do:

1/Don't run out straight away when you see the Earth shaker Icon, cause you can still deal 2 more skills before it goes off for real. So make sure you refresh your GS before you run out and of course before the Earth Shaker goes off. Or at the very least, hold the end combo skill for when you get back.
2/ Run to your side and drop the first Earth Shaker next to the boss, proceed to dodge the remaining two like normal (it takes time to get used to the timing and not get hit by the doT). AS SOON AS you see the third goes off, use Shoulder Tackle straight away to get back to the boss and repeat the rotation or finishing your combo (you still have 2 sec or so before GS drop if you happens to not be able to refresh the GS before dodging).

It is doable, just takes time to get used to the timing. I am playing with 300 pings,so if I can do it, it should not be the problem to those with lower ping.
