Heavensward; PC & PS3/4 with one purchase...

I'm not sure if it has been asked/answered already. I currently mainly play on PC, but have just upgraded my PS3 version for the PS4 as I'll be getting my sweaty mitts on one next week.

So my question is, with Heavesward only a few months away, will I be able to play the expansion on both my systems with just the one product code, or will I have to buy 2 again? Because that would suck!

i would think and don't quote me on it but yes you would need one for each system you plan on playing it on so yes i think you may have to buy it twice

If you buy the Pc version, I'm guessing you could install it on more than one computer, provided there's a valid account to use them. Play Station has its own architecture and language. The PS4 version might be able to be installed on more than one PS4 for the same reason. The only down side is you may need to call SE customer service for advice if you can not reuse the reg-code on each install. This notion of a universal install for cross platform software has only been possible when it comes to computers, ex: Mac and PC. While it is possible in theory to have one or two disks for specific installs in this manner. There's the cost and medium (the PS uses blue ray and PC's use mostly DVD's ps3 is a different setup). Given you need to download the game via internet or PSN shop, the over head & negotiations between services is really complex. It's possible to have an download for any/multiple platforms, if its tied directly to your account. It doesn't look financially practical or secure enough for it to work. Otherwise I'd have ES on three consoles and PC.

Answer is likely no, on account of Sony wanting to get their cut.
