The above are correct. Your stat allocations are tracked separately per class, and easily resettable post-50.

If you're wondering where to put them, every class (barring Arcanist) has a singular focal attribute - gladiator and marauder want VIT, pugilist and lancer want STR, archer and rogue want DEX, thaumaturge wants INT, and conjurer wants MND. A safe bet for these classes is to just put all 30 stat points you'll receive into the focal attribute. There are occasionally exceptions (eg Marauders may want to mix in some STR), but generally this is the easiest way to go about things.

The only shared bonus points are to Arcanist - which is simply "shared" because it post-30 it can be either the DPS Summoner, or the Healer Scholar - or both - but they're both 'advancements' of the Arcanist class, and thus share the Arcanist's level, base skills, and stat allocations. If you plan to do Arcanist, you can distribute according to your plans. If you plan to Summoner only, do INT; if you plan to Scholar only, do MND; if you want to be able to switch, do half and half.

If you want to do both, couldn't you just put your skill points into intellect only? Then for the summoner side your set. For the scholar side if you have cleric stance as your additional trait, then you can use that to flipflop your intelligence and mind stats. Or at least that is what I do with my scholar/summoner.

You can put all the points in either and do reasonably ok, but one job will be slightly weaker. With all points in INT, it's Scholar that will be weaker. Cleric Stance can't fix that for two reasons:

One is that switching the INT and MND stats is only one of the three effects that Cleric Stance has. The other two are that it improves your attacks and (pretty drastically) weakens your healing. So you never want to be healing from Cleric Stance.

The other problem with this approach only comes up near endgame, as you start getting job specific gear. Regardless of the bonus points that you can put wherever you want, a lot more of your stats will be coming from gear, and healer gear focuses on MND.
