Why is it that Leviathan's items remain useless? (GC turn-ins/desynth)

Title. I've had these in my retainer for quite a long time waiting for them to have a use, but it never came. Despite i95 Allagan/etc being desynthable.

Should I toss them? Keep waiting? Will these items eventually have a use for the aforementioned?

It's probably an oversight. The Levi items will get the same treatment as the older primal things eventually, I bet.

Was staring at items in my gear retainer, couldn't help but notice I've had them for a very long time now.

I pondered the thought of them potentially being as such because of the fact that they're upgradeable with Mirrors. Still, not sure.

I imagine those should be available for the aforementioned in 2.51 alongside Armoire updates for the recent (seasonal)events, or at least I'm hoping.

That's a very good question, in fact I had to toss some Leviathan weapons 2 days ago, nothing else to do with them since long :x
