Abuse/Vote-kick in CM

So, I see a lot of people spiritbonding in CM which is cool because i'm one of those people.

To the point now, I'm starting to see more and more people complaining at those that are SBing.... Even going as far as abusing a player and vote-kicking.

This IS a level 50 dungeon, we are not expected to be il100+ there after all.

Ah and before the replies come in about Urth's gift, it's not faster because you can never get a full party at all times as fast as DF.

Can a Dev please look into this? because it's really getting out of control.

You gimp the group, which keep in mind, is a public group. Of course people have the right to be ticked off with you, their not the ones in the 'wrong' (your not in the wrong, but your not the best). I disagree with the abusing of other players, but the vote kicking sounds perfectly fair. If you want a group which caters to your specific needs, use the PF or create a pre-made group by other means.

As long as it isn't for gathering/crafting gear, don't see the harm. Those duties could be steam rolled even in lvl50 AF.

Valid point, but some can hit harder or heal more due to their weapon.

I agree with this as long as it's gear that benefits their role I see no problem but to spirit bond crafting gear in duty needs to stop.

So every new player that uses the DF to do this dungeon needs to be kicked then? Since most join with quest gear and i for one craft my own gear which i do HQ. And no i do not gimp the group, there's always ALOT more too OP for this dungeon.

That's completely different. They are new, you are not. You are going into DF, you are going to get all kinds of different people. But to sit here and try and sell to us that you are getting abused because people don't want to deal with your SBing ass (sorry, but I have never seen anyone SB get kick JUST because they are SBing equipment of their job) and then acting as if its the same as someone new to the run is laughable. You are using the group to further your crafting, without asking if its okay (which is dickish, but fine), and I can tell you right now 75% of players who are in late game content can easily tell if someone is new and someone who is just there to SB their equips.

The only SBers I have seen get kicked are those who don't do their job and/or are equipped with crafting gear. If you are doing your job, DPSing/Healing then most people won't care. If you are just jumping around and doing nothing then they will kick you. People don't like dealing with other players who 100% disregard the rest of the group. If you are doing what you should be doing, then fine, but I have a hard time believing that if this "abuse" and kicking has become a problem for you.

I went into main scenario roulette on scholar in animus + full i55 (left side mnd gear, right side a mix of whatever accessories I could get, which meant only one had mnd). Got into prae in progress after first boss and there was only a paladin, another scholar, and a summoner. We didn't get additional dps or a second tank until after Nael - but we still progressed at a good pace, without me gimping the group. I see no reason to kick someone for SBing, unless they're in crafting/gathering gear.

Lol @ this comment. Dungeons don't 'require' BiS gear to complete. Most of us that did these when current were no where near the current ilvl and still managed just fine without them. If you need gear to carry you that much then maybe you should be looking more towards your level of skill rather than someone else's ilvl.

So long as the gear the person is using is a) for their current role and b) of the appropriate level (which I Sb'd tons of gear in DF in 2.0 using crafted lvl 48/49 gear even as a tank as did so many others) then there is no issue. Could they do more dmg/healing? Yes of course. Is it needed? Not even close

You say this but wait until you get paired with someone as a fellow healer in crafting gear. Soul binding in class and job appropriate gear is fine but crafting gear and you deserve that kick.
