Abuse/Vote-kick in CM

As long as it is class appropriate, there isn't anything wrong. SE even made a chang to SB that made it so lv appropriate gear sb's faster. This goes directly with what they wanted. Just because you think it's "gimping" the group doesn't mean it actually is. "Oh my god, it take 5 seconds longer to kill this, let's get mad!"

Wasn't the whole point of the recent spiritbonding change so that you can only spiritbond in level appropriate areas? I see no problem with this. My stance on it though is use job appropriate gear during trash, then switch out to your best gear for bosses.

I saw someone in CM with level 10 crafting gear on. They died at the first pull. I decided not to revive them at all through the run, because you shouldn't be spirit bonding crafting gear in a battle situation. I have no problem if someone is spirit bonding battle gear, unless they are not pulling their weight, and dying on the pulls.

In the situation where one is spirit bonding crafting gear I feel it is appropriate to Vote Kick someone, because they are basically the equivalent of being AFK if they are being carried through the Duty.

SB in a duty without asking is kinda being a jerk, you should always ask first, sure you don't need BiS gear to clear many dungeons but it makes the runs smoother and faster for most. And besides what is wrong with fates grinding while SBing? No one will care if your in crafting gear.

Also if you tank while SB and pull large groups, think of the healer cause they will be the first to kick you. And yes i have had tanks pull large groups wearing crafting jewelry only to be paper thin and die pretty quick.

I wore full SB gear for whm and still speed ran blayflox.
The group even give me a whole 3 commendations.

SB away! as long as your not causing wipes, the abuse from the self centered elitist idiots are just wrong in a game where the roulette's were made to help lower level players and those elitist players can go cry a river.

I dislike people SBing in dungeons to the point that I have posted to disable SB in duties multiple times, but I will put up with it most of the time as long its appropriate.

Crafter/Gatherer gears are not - neither is having your whole right side with meteor rings and Increase Spiritbond accessories.

My FC all decided to do some SBing when we ran a friend through Prae the other day. Even with almost all of us having 3-4 pieces (or more) of level-appropriate SB gear on, the dungeon was still a complete faceroll.

The only time SBing will actually affect your performance is a) if you're wearing crafting gear, which you shouldn't be, or b) you're wearing gear that's too low a level to SB properly in the dungeon. In order for it to SB at a decent rate in CM and Prae, you need to be wearing gear that's lvl 46-50. That's level-appropriate gear for those dungeons. CM and Prae are MEANT to be run by fresh 50s in lvl 45-50 gear. Anything higher than that is technically being overgeared.

I have no problems with new players using low level gear since they have nothing better to use. On the other hand, non-new players making the decision to slow down an entire group's run by selfishly spiritbinding in low level gear has earned more than a few votekicks from me during my daily scenario roulettes. I haven't had one fail yet so I'm under the impression that the general populace is tired of seeing this shit just as much as I am.

I don't care about the ilvl, provided the player doesn't hinder the party. If the player can handle the dungeon, it's OK. I see ilvl 110 players playing a lot worse than ilvl 55.

That said, If you vote a player only because their ilvel is low or he//she is wearing a low level crafted gear, this is a vote kick abuse. Point.
