    he said finale of season 1. they said they are planning to bring this part of his story arc to a closure.

    they did say that if enough of us wanted Hildibrand in 3.0 they would do it. I have high hopes enough of us do

    wow, i must have missed quite a lot of cutscenes! where in ARR can i see them? and why does it look so different from what i've seen when i'm playing, is there a setting in ARR that makes it that way, that i have missed?

    Maybe so, but it's still a continuation of the story that started in 1.0, and regardless of how you felt about 1.0, it existed and is this games baseline for lore.
