I'd like more long hair as well, but not "cute" styles. The long hair with full bangs and a headband is lovely, but too young/girlish looking for my female character. Same with the twintail styles. Do it right, and it could be unisex.

What I'd really love to see is long, elegant styles that has loose bits that frame the face nicely, but that are pulled up/back in some way so it doesn't clip horribly with like 90% of mage chests. >.<

I love the idea of a long ponytail, something pulled up and with a bit of a fringe to frame the face elegantly. Highlander and Miqo'te females get something similar, but not quite on the mark.

I wish they would just make lightning hair avaliable for everyone. It's my favorite hairstyle but I can't use it because I didn't start playing in time.

We are currently missing: Curly hair (male and female), baldness option for all races, afros (natural hair is gorgeous!), and it would be nice to see more braids. I would love to have a character with long, loose curly hair as it's something I associate with the traditional fantasy style. Like a few other comments, I also don't care about clipping anymore.

What would also be really great is if we got access to the hairstyles of famous FF series characters for all races. But don't put it behind any silly lore or timed events. Just make it available so people can have fun role playing their favorites.

One thing I doubt will ever be added would be the option to toggle off bangs on some hair styles. For instance, the long hair design with the white headband Chiramu is sporting right now I really love the length and backside but the bangs looked messy on my character's face so I couldn't use it. Bangs in some social corners are seen as something reserved for children and have a youthful aire to them, so it would be nice to have a version of these styles with the bangs swept back or grown out to the sides for those whom want a more sophisticated look.

Yes, I would really like to see some more hair styles without bangs. I really dislike them, and most of the longer hair styles seem to have them.

Hime cut is more like where the bangs have straight cut across (like the girl you posted) with the ends of the hair staight cut as well. The hair we have now is layered + has a hairband which many don't like.
