The Ultimate Hairstyle Thread - Discussion and Requests

All we need to do is to look at the more recent FF games (10 and beyond) to get a glimpse of some future hairstyles since many of those are similar to what we have now. Since FF14 shared the same engine as 13 then I expect drills, afros, etc.

With that said, I want more short and symmetrical hairstyles for me;something abit more realistic. Not another long, fabio-esque, saloon quality hair that covers your eye and half of your face

They could still have wigs of existing hairstyles which might solve some Issues people have with clipping and some gears. I can see the meathod of getting a wig is making a token with alchemy then you take it to the aesthetician to be styled and obtain a helmet of hair. Either that or a special qest that gives us a wig that can be styled multiple times. Naming the different hairstyle wigs may prove to be a problem...

I'd like some short haircuts that don't look completely flat on the head. I was really hyped to finally get more short hair but all the new three hair looks pretty awful on my character, as if his head was too big for it and he is wearing a very cheap wig with very little hair in it… The lala hair they gave to male seems fluffy enough, but lol cute little potato hair on a big highlander doesn't look so good either imo…

I'd also like more bangs that hide the forehead. The one I'm currently using (and have been using since I changed to Highlander) is great to make the lack of eyebrows less noticeable and add a shadowing to the face, making it softer in a way.
I think I would also like the Snow haircut but without the bandana.

That ponytail is actually already slated to be released in the NEXT update to include hairstyles as is noted by one of the links I posted. :3
