One time at garuda story...
5% hp remaining, tank died, my healer friend died, the summoner died...

All I had was the LB and my punny self... somehow survived those 3 seconds cast + animation time for an exciting victory D:


A more rescent one, yesterday fought midgardsormr, and avoided ALL AoEs masterfully, to the point that there was this expanding rings flaming AoE which this old fart dragon loves to sync with another orange AoE. Both got on my way, interrupting my front and back, leaving a measily triangle at the border where a Lalafell would struggle stuffing in as an open safe area, somehow managed to beat server positional lag and curl up in there to survive safely with no damage D: (Im still wondering what happened at that mere moment)

Honestly, the one I remember most came from 1.0's Rivenroad. We just barely beat it with 10 seconds on the clock.

Keep in mind: the timer on this fight was not nearly as generous as the ones in 2.0. I think it was like 10 or 20 minutes, or something. However, you needed every moment of it.

From 2.0, the one I remember most is one fight against the Chimera in Cutter's Cry. I ended up soloing it as a Paladin from 33% or so, but ended up beating it. Stoneskin was my friend there.

An honorable mention is one fight against Titan Normal a while back, when a Warrior ended up soloing the last 10-20% or so.

AV. I was leveling my White Mage, and the party reached the second boss. Coin counter, I believe he was called? (It's been a while)

We en gave and the fight quickly goes south. Tank catches the business end of a Swipe with his face, and went down before I could pop a heal. The dps take a Swing and go down in one hit. I get the tank back up while kiting the boss, but it is to little avail as he soon dies again.

I end up kiting the boss, and raising people whenever Swift Cast was up. We ended up winning though the fight took exponentially longer than normal. We worked together to bring him down once everyone was back. Felt awesome.

Okay, here it goes!... My solo battle with Marraco! (Took advantage that everyone was busy in a S rank and... Got my final revenge!). Checking that channel you can see also another interesting one, Fighting Mahisha in caverns zone... Only 3 parties.

Soloed Demon Wall from 25% to 0 as a white mage after the rest got punted off the bridge... Sure, it's not a massive achievement considering we're overgeared and demon wall does crap all damage.. Still, dodging the AoE, healing myself, dpsing the wall, taking care not to be punted off, toggling cleric stance all the time, and towards the end having to deal with being on the poisoned floor all the time (and running out of space) ... It was a lot of keybashing, but lots of fun

Yup did that myself once.

Titan Ex, single tank single heals with me on SCH.
DPS start getting dropped off edge one by one, we just clear superbomb as last DPS goes off leaving just me and tank with titan around 2%. I go cleric just keeping tank up with lustrates. eventually he drops too, and I bring titan down alone with kiting/dots/ruin2

Just had a new epic about an hour-ish +/- on my bard/Taiga...


Garuda EX with a ton of newbies. Both tanks, both healers (I think o.O I know atleast one was) and a DPS or two.
We'd been having trouble, wiping, but luckily we decided to take it down to the wire, in regards to time.
We got Garuda down to about 3-5%? when the last round of sisters had cropped up....killed off chirada, etc..... the rest is a slight "ohshitohshitohshit get out of Garuda's warpath" blur, so I don't remember how exactly it happened.... but saw dpses go down.... healers go down... tank.... I'm sitting here thinking, "whelp, time to lay down and di-I'M A BARD AND THREE FULL BARS OF LB @_@ *hotkeybar icon smash*". Ended up slapping LB just as the hurricane winds started forming a circle in the middle of the field... finished the animation just in time before getting punted to the middle by the wind tunnel, barely survived that. Then barely surviving some other hits in all the chaos. Everyone was scrambling to get in the circle and get to Garuda.... but then feathers come trodding in..... next thing I know we're dropping like flies, again I'm tabbing through the feathers - most effectively stacked on each other, so I had no choice) quickly to lighten the damage load on the party for the healers - but someone must have spanked spiney during that time. In my "ohshitohshitohshit" panic I accidently tabbed onto spiney after my regular feather died, and open fired. Spiney had only a little HP left by the time I tabbed to it and it goes down in one hit, prematurely.
SHIT. Old nightmare realized.

Whelp. We're done for. butbutbut a sliver of HP! But, most of the party are dead now.... Whatever. KILL IT LIKE ODIN.
Use ALL the cooldowns! (not that I wasn't before, but some came off CD while I was LBing/running for my life/Second winding) Slap ALL the procs and attacks and Silence OffCD (free dps)!

Just as Garuda did her spin and the winds picked up for her wipe attack, she died.

Double clutch.

We'd started the fight at about 11 mins left on the clock (didn't check how much time we had left after that, But I'd assume about 5 or so mins)

*Mini heart attack*

Xanthos whistle dropped xD I didn't win it D: but still, an awesome drop for an epic win. xD
