Where are the the turn-ins for NQ Antumbral Rocks and Redolent Logs?

I have gone to Talan, and I see a turn in for the following:

Cordial --- 10 NQ Umbral Rock
Cordial --- 10 NQ Fragrant Logs
Stuffed Artichoke --- 5 NQ Silver Sovereign
Spinach Quiche --- 5 NQ Gigant Clams

In addition, all the DOH have turn ins for Fish Soup with 5 NQ of their normal items.

Am I missing something? Did Miners and Botanists get forgotten??? What do we do with the NQ Antumbral Rocks and Rodolent Logs? At my current rate I will have 350+ of each by the time I get my 99 HQ !!! They are totally useless if you already have your supra.

    Thanks.

If you have Blacksmith desynth they are not.

The base AF tools are quest rewards and can be purchased from the Calamity Salvager. You then upgrade and desynth.

You're not missing anything, they are indeed useless if you have the supra. Considering that, like you mentioned, any of the items that you need to be HQ have a NQ turn-in, it seems weird that redolent logs/antumbral rocks don't after supra, which you'll get before you need HQ ones.

Personally, I'd be fine with more cordials, or decently high level NQ food (like haddock dip so I can get HQ ebony logs without that foragers off-hand in the downtime).

    I agree with lyndwyrm:

Dev Team, please allow us to turn in NQ Antumbral Rocks / Redolent Logs for Cordial at least (or NQ food).

Don't you need 3 mastercraft demis to upgrade the AF tool?

Indeed, I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to make a supra to desynth it! It costs far more to make than you could ever possibly get out of it.

So the question still stands... Did they forget about the gatherers other than fishers?

I think they just left it alone since you could gather a ton of antumbral rock easily if the turn in was any good. The turn in for crafters is really just to get the new/ rare items back when you fail to HQ a synth, probably to put less emphasis on the use of reclaim (though a NQ synth still loses you a modest amount of gil from other materials). There is a turn in for magicked oilcloth/ bamboo paper to get some gathering food. I forget what it is, but of course you can get the cloth/ paper from leves, allied seals, or grand company seals.

I have 20 HQ, and 88 NQ Gigant Clams. The ratio there is much the same as it is in gathering the logs and ore. I am hoping it was just an oversight that will be corrected. BTW, the same is true of the UMBRAL ore to turn in for Cordials. You COULD gather a bunch of it.
