Job using Dark spells? BLM?

Several fights against [REDACTED] show them using Dark Elemental spells like Dark, and Dark IV. Do you think there will be a job using dark spells, or even a pre-existing job obtaining these abilities? *CoughBLMcough*

Well, with the Dark Knight coming out for the expansion, youncan tell who will have some degree of dark magic or Power of Darkness.

It's still a possibility to give BLMs a dark elemental spell thou.

Thaumaturge used to use Dark and Light (Umbral/Astral) spells back in 1.0. They were changed to Elemental spells when they made it the base class for Black Mage :-/

yoshi finding a way to slip in some more cross class skills for his blm lol... HELL YES BLM should be able to pick some of those drk skill up!!

Arcanist should pick up the Dark Elemental Spells since staple wise they used Dark abilities.

Unless Dark happens to be a really powerful spell, I don't see them adding it for BLMs in the expansion. Instead, I can see it being part of the beginning damage rotation for Astrologian, along with Banish (light elemental). Mostly because of space/stars.

Alternatively, Dark Knight will get the Dark spell and Astrologian will get Banish.
