Something similar to Odin perhaps, where big one hit AOES go off, forcing players to back off every 10% hp, increasing the hp pool, scaling it based on players with tag/within proximity, creating a massive shield when the hp is dropping too fast or some such.

There are tons of ways they could easily fix this...
There are so many lethal mechanics from Coil and Crystal Tower that would probably stop large groups of players in their tracks. They should start adding more of them to A and S ranks. That is what they should be doing to improve elite marks.
