    They should of added multiple ways to get the upgrade loot, then all people wouldn't be zerging the same content

    1. Increase HP, sure. Add an extra 0 or two.

    2. How about make it so everyone who tags the thing gets full credit. No more of this shared BS that encourages folks to hog it all for themselves.

    A ranks should be scaled to a party of 8 people as a base

    Whenever anyone else gains enmity on the monster, it should gain a damage reduction buff that stacks up to 99 or more. The more people the higher its resistance.

    Yes there is griefing that could occur, but really, with the metric F-ton of people who want seals, is that really going to happen much?

    They could also make the buffs wear off over time until a new person gains threat on it to reset the time or in the event of griefing, have it so if you don't do any damage over a period of time the monster loses the stack they contributed.

    This could also in that sense be a debuff effect to the attacker instead of the monster. IE:" More then 8 people have attacked this monster, your damage to this target is lowered." the debuff would read.

    I'm on jenova and our hunt scene is just toxic. We have a fc who finds or is some of the first to the hunts. Then they call it out and kill just so its dead when it shows up. Then makes fun of people who didn't get there in time. I'm all for people pulling them when they want if they find it but the intentional drama and trolling not so much.

    The real problem with hunts is that everyone is being funneled into doing them since they're the only alternative to fcob to obtaining carbontwine and is also uncapped. Essentially, if you're not running fcob for the items, either because you already cleared those turns for the week or just can't actually clear any of the turns, you'll be hunting for the majority of the time if you want to make constant progress on gear.

    Hunts just aren't built to handle that much people. They need to get people to do something besides hunt. There's plenty of people that don't really like hunts but feel like they have to do it. If there was another viable alternative to hunts maybe they would be swarmed in seconds.

    The system needs to be enhanced to account for the item level increase. Something similar to Odin perhaps, where big one hit AOES go off, forcing players to back off every 10% hp, increasing the hp pool, scaling it based on players with tag/within proximity, creating a massive shield when the hp is dropping too fast or some such.

    There are tons of ways they could easily fix this...

    I loved how they worked in 2.4! me and 4-6 of my friends would just go hunt down 3-5 A ranks a night, it was fun, challenging, and not just a zergfest! I miss that ; ;

    It's entertaining trying to beat Dalvag's Final Flame with only 3 people. Tornado is legit.

    Hunts were definitely better off without endgame rewards, but they could have at least added additional casual avenues to get those rewards to mitigate the wild overcrowding. Maybe they think it's fun for everyone to be jerks to each other?

    They just like to underestimate the rush mentality of the players. They need to watch some Black Friday Walmart videos or something, then transition that image to what the players are like when it comes to easy-to-do endgame upgrades. As someone who did a lot of Hunts prior to 2.5, very few from their initial launch, and only one since 2.5, the mayhem right now is enjoyable. It's like going on a safari adventure and running into territorial keyboard savages you never had a name for. "This is MY hunt!"
