Not really. What Reokudo said was the HP can remain the same. His suggestion was for the monster's defense to scale with the number of current participants. So no matter if there's 10 or 100 people who have hit it and thus are on its aggro meter somewhere, it'll still have 100% max hp. But its defense will be significantly higher in the latter case.

But I agree: I would have thought they'd have made it similar to leves or treasure maps, except with S ranks possibly requiring an alliance of three parties (possible now that we can pre-form alliances) to take it down. But it's not like they're going to change the whole mechanic of it at this stage ^^;
However, they should have anticipated not only the zerg rush with the new rewards but also the general increase in ilvl.
