    easy dungeon roles?

Despite not being in a dungeon for quite some time now, I was wondering what tanking and dps roles are the easiest to manage. So far, for the majority of the dungeons I've been in, have been ACN (dps).
Anyway, I'm hoping to do some tanking for the first time, and I'm thinking of GLA (at Lv30). For dps, I'm hoping to do PGL.

(Sig banner is not up to date, LNC is currently at 17)

I found Marauder easier than gladiator when I first started tanking so you could try that, make sure you are doing the class quests at their guilds, you need the skills.

Black mage is the easiest class in dungeons but also one of the more boring ones until you hit like level 45+

In level 50 black mages still got an easy rotation but the challenge is to finding ways where you have to move as little as possible to dish out lotsaa damage!

Healer is by far the easiest role in low-level dungeons. imho. You have to do practically nothing. As a White Mage Regena do almost anything and as a scholar the fairy.

Marauder/Warrior is definitely a-lot easier than PLD for newcoming tanks, Overpower gives you emnity easier over bigger groups of enemies and not to mention Defiance at level 30 which kinda makes your tanking a cake walk after that.

DPS wise for dungeons and such just go as you wish, MNK has a movement rotation to heavily determine its damage output, SMN is damage over time, BLM is long casting heavy damage, BRD is a support role but can do decent dps, DRG is mainly behind target apart from heavy thrust which is a flank, NIN is all behind target and so forth i recommend playing them all to 15 and you'll know which one you like best.

As others said, MRD is going to be easier than PLD for learning to tank. Overpower can be used far more often than Flash and the resource it uses (TP) regenerates quickly on its own, so you don't need to weave in Riot Blades to regenerate your MP.

For DPS, if you're looking to do melee, both DRG and MNK are relatively easy in the beginning. I would say MNK is easier simply because it FORCES you to use specific abilities (due to buff uptime and stance rotation), which means there's less thinking involved. I'm in Opo Stance? Well I can either Bootshine or Dragon Kick. Is there another MNK keeping Dragon Kick up? Use Bootshine for extra damage. Don't have another MNK keeping Dragon Kick up? Use Dragon Kick for the debuff. That's it.

Bard is the easiest damage dealer. doesn't even have to do anything but attack.

they are ranged damage dealer, their attacks are instant, their DoTs are instant, can move freely and attack at the same time, don't have to do lb.

not saying it's the best or highest DPS but Bard is the easiest job to play.

I must admit, I find myself thinking too much playing monk "OKay okay time to use dragon kick, hmm was it flank or behind? oh yeah flank!" If you play it as a main it should be easier though I reckon

Monk is the easiest melee DPS to start learning how to play melee. as other said, monk combo forces you to do it the right routine so you can just create a macro to deal with it.

I would think monk would be one of the more challenging DPS. I have it at 50 and don't get me wrong, its a ton of fun, but the changing rotation, the upkeep of greased lightning and the positioning makes it more difficult than other DPS jobs (thats not to say its HARD, just there are others that are easier). Likewise, Nin is kind of the same, it doesnt really have many position requirements but it does involve watching and timing buffs and mudras.

Easiest I would say is BLM by a long shot (its actually kinda boring I feel) and BRD. I don't have DRG at 50 but that one just bored me so much I couldnt take it past 34 after I got blood for blood.

Tanks I cant comment on WAR since I havent levelled mine, but from playing PLD and watching WARs, it does seem that in the lower levels WAR has a much easier time holding hate. In 2.4? the buff to flash enmity was a big help at least, although GLA/PLD has the benefit that if you level with someone who can sleep adds in a dungeon, you can very easily hold hate with flash without waking mobs which MRD/WAR can't do
