I have tried it differently for another Relic, doing the quest now with my novus weapon so collecting light at the same time, but over 25 runs of WP and still nodda. I seriously am regretting doing another Relic at this point, lol

I guess peeps by now might have notice the huge tweak in rng shyt drop rates for Zodiac braves item.
Other players who did Zodiac braves after the launch for a mth had only 4-5 dungeons with a drop.
Now, it became 10-20 dungeon spams for 1 drop. Everyone in my fc is complaining about the terrible drop rate.
Since when did the developers tweak the drop rate , it's totally clueless.
Developers only hear the voice of hardcore players complaining that braves and zeta was easy.
Unfortunately, they do not spare any single thought for players who tried to cope with real life activities and balance it between their scarce gaming hours.
I had almost serious backpain trying to spam 20 rounds of hatali hard and 15 snowcloak for them to drop, hoping that i could get my relic done in the weekends.
It ended up a bad weekend for me only to earn only one drop for dozens of dungeon spams.
And at the same time the Elitist gripe because the game is "Too Casual". So what do the devs do exactly? Answer is, as they please. If they catered to the Hardcore players only then the game would be to difficult for any one with real world obligations to be able to play. The happy medium is what we have now. Ex Primals and End Game raids that are harder than even some of the more skilled players can handle and casual content that's entirely governed by RNG to the point that it makes speed grinding it neigh impossible. The "Story" content is just that, story content. It's neither casual nor is it hardcore it's just something to do. Run in there with minimum gear and it's a challenge, alot of my ex-guild mates liked to do that while others like me over gear it so bad that it's just a speed bump rather than a road block.
So we have Hard Core Raids that are short but ridiculously hard (Aka iLvls mean nothing), Casual Grinds that take obscene dedication (Aka Time Sinks), and Mid-Core story content that can be as hard or as easy as you want via gear stats. It's not bad but at the same time not good, thus is the price for trying to please every one. To be good at every thing is to not be great at anything.

The hardcore raider, loosely titled elitist, did not do his Zodiak until the Zeta stage was patched into the game.
The stance on the relic (on this forum) was: "Relic is not worth it, its crap, I'm getting my Dreadwyrm weap in no time, you stoopid relic farmers"
None of these raiders come here and would say Relic quest is a breeze.
Instead, it's exactly the other way around, the casual/mid-core players came here mouthing how the grind is a good thing and you don't need to do it if you don't want.
I have to say, this grind for the dungeon drops is killing me. I love this game, and as annoying as the light was, it wasnt so much based on RNG, but this is so insane. I've done hundreds, LITERALLY HUNDREDS of runs with only 7 total to show for it.
I've only got 1 additional Zodiac dungeon drop since i posted previously i think...i hate this.
I am currently counting 59 runs of Copperbell HM without a drop... This is killing me. I dont know if i should yell, swear or cry about it. Im a DD, i have horrible wait times and if 1 or 2 ppl are new to the dungeon, i sometimes wipe up to 4 times... I hated this dungeon before the quest, i hate the dungeon even more now. I have a lot of time on my hand... What are ppl supposed to do with only 1-2 hours a day?
Seriously SE... if its supposed to be 10% chance it should have dropped by now! Once - when i left the dungeon - i heard a sound as if i had finaly gotten the drop... But no, it was just a sound... am i bugged? Is this quest bugged? Is FFXIV bugged? See, i write silly nonsense... this is what Copperbell HM does to me... im going CRAZY!
Currently stuck on Snowcloak (10+), Lost City of Ampdapor (20+) and Copperbell mines (30+), these are driving me crazy. The other dungeons (like 8 of the items) i got all within 1 to 5 runs.

Tanking is a job, DPSing is a science and Healing is an art.
If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If the DPS dies, it's their own damn fault.
Just done my 3rd zodiac, i got all the drops at over 1800 nexus lights. Dungeon farming while just playing normally (daily ex roulette, weekly towers, alex maps, helping FC etc). At least this time, I have no dungeon over 20 runs.
20 runs on lost city still not drop...this is just god damn ridiculous.
