Zodiac Quest Dungeon Items

I just went some 7 or 8 hours without a single drop. Averaging around 3 dungeons per hour. This is not a fun system. It's not a sane system. Hell, it's not even a boring system. It is an innately frustrating, unfair system that naturally punishes people regardless of whether they do well or poorly. It is so idiotically conceived that only a fool would think it as anything other than broken by design.

The idiot who is in charge of this system needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can actually design fair objectives. I don't even care if it requires a 40 hour investment like the novus->nexus grind. It just needs to be something better than a system that innately has a failure scenario where it's ever practically impossible to finish the quest through no fault of the player. The RNG just flat out needs to be removed from quests. Period.

Since I've started my quest, I have been keeping track of my drops and my run attempts via spreadsheet to see how good my luck has been.

My drops so far have been:

Snowcloak: 1/2

Quest 2:
Aurum Vale: 0/2
Haukke Manor (Hard): 1/3
The Lost City of Ampador: 0/0
Satasha (Hard): 0/0

Quest 3:
The Wanderer's Palace: 1/2
Copperbell Mines (Hard): 1/1
Hullbreaker Isle: 0/11
The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard): 0/0

Quest 4:
Ampador Keep: 1/4
Pharos Sirius: 1/8
The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard): 1/8
The Stone Vigil (Hard): 1/1

Total Drops: 11
Total Dungeons: 56
Drop Rate: 19.64%
Longest Period without a drop: 8 hours (about 19 dungeons)
Best luck so far: 3 in a row.

As you can see, it is totally up to RNG. I wish good luck for everyone that does this quest. I'll update it on request.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I find that running tanking job and getting the instant dungeon commence to pop and attempt back to back is amazing. Yet, I only have the SMN Zeta weapon.

Tanks can back to back queue, but when you go some 12+ hours without seeing one item averaging 3 dungeons per hour, it gets very old very fast. I ended up getting well below average on a number of my dungeons, where "average" is arbitrarily defined as a 90% chance to see the drop by X runs (which is about 20 for a 1 in 9 chance). The system is broken by design.

Working on weapon #2 so I know the struggle is real but 2 days off from work and I got one first thing in the morning on day 1 then nothing till late nite on day 2

65 Pharos runs now and still no drop...im seriously getting pissed at this BS system

Currently 0/26 in Sastasha HM. Only had 2 drops in my last 61 dungeon runs. I know people who've finished their entire zodiac in less time than that.

This is the worst experience I've had in this game by far.

0/14 at the moment on Satasha HM. Its the last one I need to get my zodiac. And its being a gigantic pain lol.

about 35 Amdabor keep runs atm... only this one left and stone vigil after this. First time im really getting tired and bored of this game. Quests like this are really lame ..
