is it just me or are GC's teaming up?

hey i have done a lot of matches this week nearly 26 matches but in the last 14 matches i have noticed that adders and flames (i am storm) have ignored each other and co-ordinated into such a state where it seems improbable that they are random players,

during the last match i was in poor to typing this, we were MAGE LB'd 5 times 3 times by flames and twice by adders, but they were so pin pointed against us when we weren't 2nd or 1st, there were adder paladins with flame warriors stunning the same target and not fighting each other, adders camping storms spawn with flames camping the ramp,

it just seems to me that people are working togeaver, in a way that dose seem unfair, but i do not know if this is me interperating well thought out randoms or if it is truly people in remade groups communicating, but the last 14 matches have all been 3rd with this co-operation between Two GC's against one,

please share any experience like this if you can.

the only way i can think to remove this issue is to mix groups, and make it a 36 v 36 instead of 24 v 24 v 24 since this would be a clear (you fight this group) thing rather then a team up :c

I don't know the reason why, or if the Flames/Storm even felt like they were working together, but it doesn't matter. The focus can go anywhere, just like how people used to spawn camp one GC. Maybe Adders were ahead in points, won the last 5 matches, had a strong team, or just pissed off the wrong people. Not much you can do except make the best of it.

I think its just advantageous for the GC to kill farm groups that have less people in them this usually happens during the peripheral nodes phase. Some GCs might not bother leaving mid so when a GC do decide to send members to manors/market they'll pretty much end up feeding them kills as they teleport back one after the other

I honestly think the same thing at times. There's been a number of times that, as an Adder, I've seen Mael and Flames team up against us (usually because we're winning at the time). After they kill a lot of us, they just go their separate ways and don't attack each other (unless someone is attacking them). It might just be because it's easier to double team than it is to go toe to toe, and neither side wants to risk it. It's just funny to me since, at least on Primal, Adders is typically the underdog that starts most matches with far less people than the others, yet we still win a majority of games that I'm in. I've had quite a number of cases where it was 8 or 9 adders vs nearly full (if not full) 24man alliances with Mael/Flames at the start of a match.

I've seen every single GC get ganged up at least once. Same server group as OP.

It all depends on the flow of the game, who's winning, who overextended, who's weaker, who won last few matches, etc. If your GC presents itself as being too weak, and the first lb starts, a chain of LBs might follow on you from both sides because people want to snipe the kills.

If your GC is winning early on by a slight lead, and the other two are close second, you might find your GC being ganged up on by the other two in order to normalize the score.

If you are in 2nd place, and it's almost the end of the match, then you might find yourself ganged by both the first and the 3rd, because the 1st wants to keep their lead and the 3rd wants to sneak a second.

If your GC won the last few matches, people might gang up on you just out of spite.

That's actually what just happened a minute ago for me lol. We (Adders) are winning a lot tonight, some by huge landslides, so that last match was non-stop flanking from both sides to ONLY Adders. For the most part, Mael and Flames literally left each other alone for the whole match. We still got 2nd place though on that lol.

I've gone days of Adder and Maelstrom literally gang banging us [Flames] in the middle. Perhaps they are scared? We win most of the time, but why go to such an extent to 'attempt' a loss for us?

Same thing is happening for us on Primal, but it's Adders that are being targeted. Which sucks mainly due to the fact that we are the underdogs in most cases, where we rarely start matches with a full alliance and are commonly found with 5+ people missing for the first minute or so after start. We win a lot despite that, but I guess the others are getting tired of it today lol. We do get occasional team ups against Adders like that from before, but today is the most obvious case of it.

It honestly just depends, and sometimes it is actually the case for a number of reasons. I see some primal adders posting from last night and that is basically what happened. We noticed a strategy they were using and shifted our tactics to counter them by removing all three groups from the middle since they were leaving more people up top instead of going after side nodes, which effectively left the flames vs. adder, afterwards we ran up the adder ramp and proceded to push them into the flames. This had no coordination from the flames and was simply our counter to the adders tactic of overwealming the mountain top which prevented our alliance from getting a foothold after the split. The few nights before we were dominating and were on the receiving end of tactics similar to this, and when slaughter first launched the flames came out of the gates with full force. What a lot of people don't realized unless you're running lots of runs consecutively is that there are a lot of strategies an alliance can apply and see positive results. While this mode has it's fair share of flaws I generally enjoy the gameplay and watching the teamwork and shift in tactics in an entire alliance of non-preformed players.
