need help with a transfer

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question...I've been a long time fan, of the Final Fantasy series, and this is my first time posting here, so please forgive me, for sounding noobish. :|

I'm trying to transfer from the Gilgamesh server, to Zalera, but it's not showing up...does that mean, the server is closed to transfers at the moment?

Are you still in free trial status of the game? If so you will need to log into the mog station and put in your payment information to finalize your "subscription" to FFXIV. I noticed when I was trying to transfer my newly created account for my wife, I had to go in and put my credit card info and setup the subscription payment before she was eligible for transfer. If you sign up to pay with a credit card monthly you won't be charged until your free trial status is up so don't worry about setting it up early. Hope that helps.
