I'd like to see more masks.

After going through a bunch of the items in-game, I realise we lack opera masks, kabuki masks, kitsune masks and all that other sort of stuff we can wear to hide our faces and up our glamour game. There's a mask in-game that covers the face, but there's none that cover the eyes alone (and are available for all GCs).

The Behemoth Mask is just a ballroom mask, and the High Allagan Masks are bandit scarfs. We need more mask variety!

Kitsune style masks should also have /visor functionality.

Also, while not masks, I am disappointed that the plain Ninja gear the Domans wore in various 2.4 quests (and Ninjas in ST for that matter) didn't find its way into 2.5... My dream Ninja glamour is a long way off...

Imperials drop a mask that covers just the eyes. Melee have that turban/mask thing for sol tomes. There's the allagan visors, shikaree's mask, all the goggles, rosegold circlet, masks like demagogue and the low level ash mask, cobalt mesail... There's so many already in game.

I stand corrected on shikaree's mask (never seen it in-game, I blame crafting material drops), but that's just for BRD. The soldiery stuff... I guess it sort of fits, but even if we yield that there's still a very limited pool of mask-wear to choose from. Demagogue and Ash masks are almost exactly alike (re-colour/minor details), and they're good masks but very limited. Rosegold circlet is very like them, but with a circlet. That's hardly variety. I don't know why you think goggles constitute a mask, and a cobalt mesail covers the mouth/nose and doesn't come even remotely close to a decorative mask.

That's a kabuki mask, and it's more than just an expression-less face cover with no real features. I'd like to see more masks that cover the entire face (or upper part of the face is fine too) with some more expression than the current ash masks (demagogue w/e) offer.

Also, while of course all opinions are valuable, creating a thread on the official forums serves a good purpose of letting the developers know what the playerbase still wants. If you disagree on that, you're welcome to but please take it elsewhere, as extra stuff being added to the game isn't going to harm you in any which way. If you disagree and think there's plenty of mask variety for you: Good for you. I disagree with that notion and so want to express my desire to see more masks in game. People who feel the same way (or who want to see a particular type of mask) can lend their voices to this and let the developers know what we'd like to see in a future update. If you don't want to see more masks in a future update, you are entirely welcome to create a new thread to complain other people want something you don't want.

with a list of stuff that is in game that does in fact just cover the eyes as well as the whole face (and I just listed some, not all). ^^

I made a thread asking for the same thing a long time ago, so I definitely support this.
Particularly I would like to see more eye masks (like the imperial one) and half masks (like the Ascians wear).

Kabuki masks are a bit "anime/manga cliche" for my tastes, but I could definitely see Kabuki-style animal masks being part of a seasonal event like the Heavensturn one, since animal based silly headgear is already a precedent there.

Oh and some face cover veils similar to what Yugiri wore but only really covering the lower part of the face, leaving the eyes exposed.

I approve of this, I actually wanted to propose this myself. SE has gone full force on glasses since the last few patches, I think it would be nice of them to focus on different sort of glamour part. I personally really like the first coil DPS mask and wish they would give us more choice. Making the Legionary visor dyable could be a good idea too, even if i'm not too fan of the look of the mask with eye holes.

Any mask would be great if they r not reskinned or slightly altered imperial visors or ash masks.
I'd love to see se use the visor function more and have interesting masks that are available to all classes.
