what is the best thing to spiritbond for vitality level 4 materia

does it need to have vitality on the equip? can i spirit bond a strength ring and get a vitality materia?

I'd guess tank gear, or at the least, DoW gear. Not sure if DoM gear will give Vitality, and I know that neither DoL nor DoH gear will give it.

Two theories:

Any DoW / DoM gear can give materia of any stat on it or elemental materia.

Any DoW gear can give any DoW stat materia or elemental materia. Any DoM gear can give any DoM stat materia or elemental materia.

As for the first theory, I have gotten quickarm from stuff without skill speed.

Also, VIT is found on both DoW and DoM gear.

I've got Battledance (parry) materia from non-tank gear quite a few times.

Any high level (70+) DoW/DoM gear or accessories should have a chance to give VIT IV materias.

The crafter Aetheryte Ring too, since for whatever reason it never gives crafting materia, usually STR or VIT. (But since it's level 55 it's hardly ever grade IV materia)
