I researched a bunch of rotations with some simulators, but I have yet to find one I like. The rotations I found though tended to average to 80%. One trick is to use Shark Fin Soup to get 510+ craftsmanship. This lets you complete progress with just two steps and 0 CP: Rapid Synthesis + Careful Synthesis II, no Ingenuity II required. This saves you 32 CP, more than making up for the 25 you lose from not using Bouillabaisse. You also save one step if you succeed the Rapid, giving you an extra Hasty.
I have not actually started crafting my turnins though, so I don't know how well this actually works. I had a rotation that only required 3 Good conditions out of 17 chances (and 1 Good condition out of 8 chances) and could fail two Hasty Touches/Rapid Synthesises and still hit 100%.
I think this rotation might work well, but I have not tried it:
- Use Tricks of the Trade on all Goods (but only use it once, period, while Waste Not is up!) until you've used it 4-5 times total (including the one during Waste Not)
- Open with Comfort Zone. Refresh Comfort Zone when it falls off but only once
- After CZ, use Inner Quiet, Steady Hand II, Waste Not, then start the rotation
- Use Rapid Synthesis until it succeeds once, then use Hasty Touch
- When Steady Hand II wears off, put it back up, but try to only use it three times total
- When you run low on CP, use Manipulation, but only twice
- After second Manipulation, when you have 35 CP (with each remaining stack of Manipulation counting as 10 CP), start the finisher rotation
- Everything below is the finisher:
- Start of Finisher: Steady Hand (NOT II, just normal), Waste Not, Hasty Touch x4 (if you have 40 CP instead of 35, you can Tricks on one Good here. If you do, throw a Hasty in later after the next Steady Hand. If you get an Excellent during the Waste Not with 10+ stacks of IQ, use Byregot's and finish)
- If you now have a Good, use Tricks, otherwise, use Steady Hand. If you like gambling and get an Excellent, you can skip to Byregot's here, but if you don't want to take that 90% chance of failing the synth entirely, ignore the Excellent.
- If you've used fewer than 3 tricks by this point, you've failed, reclaim. If you have a Good condition and you've used 3+ Tricks so far, use Tricks. If you have only used 3 tricks and did not get a Good, reclaim. If you've used 4+ Tricks and you get an Excellent, skip to Byregot's.
- Use Great Strides
- If you now have a Good or Excellent condition or you have only used 4 Tricks, use Byregot's Blessing. Otherwise, if you've used 5 Tricks, use Innovation then Byregot's Blessing.
- Finish with Careful Synthesis II
If you had 4x Tricks, you'll end with 0 CP (having spent all 373). If you had 5x Tricks, you'll end with 2 CP (having spent 18 extra on Innovation).
